Description
Calibre continues to evolve, building on a strong industry-leading position, to provide ever-increasing capability to solve the most demanding physical verification tasks. The “Calibre nmDRC/nmLVS Update” class will acquaint you with many of the newest features introduced in recent Calibre releases. Detailed lectures along with step-by-step lab exercises will empower you to apply these powerful new tool features immediately, realizing the full benefit of Calibre’s latest enhancements.
You will learn how to
- Employ many of the new Calibre Interactive Graphical User Interface features such as the display of layer derivation trees and direct entry of SVRF statements.
- Use the Incremental DRC feature to fix and validate layout problems even before your complete DRC run is finished.
- Perform accelerated verification of new versions of your designs, using the powerful dbdiff program to focus checking on changed areas only.
- Apply many new Calibre RVE features such as histograms and dynamic results displays.
- Invoke hierarchical cell analysis from within Calibre Interactive to identify cells that have the greatest impact on LVS run time.
- Work with LVS runs that involve the use of device signature data for device recognition.
- Apply enhanced short isolation techniques.
