Rick Bosshardt

Vice President, Global Distribution Channel

Rick Bosshardt joined Mentor Graphics in November, 2008, as Vice President of the Global Distribution Channel, reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales. Bringing 28 years of experience running sales and Channel organizations in the Semiconductor technology market place to Mentor Graphics, Bosshardt will be applying his past successes in driving high technology, design driven sales methodologies through Mentor's network of independent VAR's, Distributors and Resellers.

Prior to joining Mentor, Bosshardt served as Vice President of Worldwide Distribution at Freescale Semiconductor and Microchip Technology, and leading up to those positions held successively more senior sales manager roles at Motorola, Waferscale Integration, and Ramtron.

Bosshardt is a dual Swiss/USA citizen, receiving his education in both countries, and ultimately earning a BS in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University. He is fluent in English, German, and Swiss German.
