The HEP provides a cost-effective way for colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, Central and Latin America to acquire Mentor Graphics software for teaching and non-commercial academic research. Over 220 schools in the Americas now offer courses using Mentor Graphics software!

Europe

Mentor Graphics partners with the EUROPRACTICE Software Service to donate our EDA tools to Universities and Research Laboratories for teaching and non-commercial academic research. Over 250 schools in most European countries have signed up for Mentor Graphics software through the EUROPRACTICE program. EUROPRACTICE (Promoting Access to Components, subsystems and microsystems Technologies for Industrial Competitiveness in Europe) provides a wide range of services, looks after end-user telephone support and manages annual software updates to the latest revision of our tools.
