IC Nanometer Design Tutorials – Santa Clara University
The Engineering Design Center, School of Engineering, of Santa Clara University, has developed a comprehensive set of tutorials to introduce students to the custom IC design flows of Mentor Graphics.
The tutorials include:
- Circuit entry using Design Architect-IC
- Analog and mixed-signal simulation using Eldo and ADVanceMS
- Custom IC layout using IC Station
- DRC/LVS using Calibre
- Extraction using Calibre xRC
No previous knowledge of CAD tools is needed to use these tutorials. However, a certain level of knowledge of logic or circuit design is assumed.
The tutorials have been used in undergraduate and graduate courses. They will be updated as time permits and we look forward to your comments for improvement.
The tutorials are available from Santa Clara University on the VLSI CAD Tutorial's Page.
