Product Description
The Relex Reliability Prediction Software allows the user to evaluate the failure rate and MTBF of his/her product and pinpoint areas for potential improvement. Relex Prediction Software supports MIL-HBDK-217, Bellcore, and Mechanical prediction models, and also includes vast component data libraries for fast and easy data entry.

Relex RBD (Reliability Block Diagram) allows the user to graphically draw a system complete with redundancy, maintenance, and sparing information. The highly sophisticated math model quickly and accurately computes Reliability, Availability, MTTF, MTBF, Failure Rate, Unreliability, Unavailability, as well Optimal Number of Spares.

With Relex FMEA/FMECA, the user can quickly analyze all system failure modes and effects. Relex FMECA computes item and mode criticality and Risk Priority Number (RPN) values, identifies severity levels, and supports automatic building of failure modes and effects. Relex FMECA is a highly customizable, flexible package which can be configured for a multitude of user-defined analysis types.

Relex Maintainability provides an organized framework for analyzing Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and dozens of other parameters related to system maintenance. Relex Maintainability supports Procedures 2, 5A and 5B of MIL-HDBK-472 and allows entry of maintenance tasks as well as FD&I outputs.

Relex Life Cycle cost provides the ability to completely analyze the cost of a system over the lifetime of the product. Relex LCC supports parametric, bottoms up, and direct cost analysis types, and performs sensitivity analysis.

All Relex products include a CAD Import/Export Wizard, a WYSIWYG visual report designer, presentation-quality graphics capabilities, a built-in spell checker, support for VBA macros, password protection, and multi-user network support.

Description of Integration
Using a built-in step-by-step import wizard, Relex will automatically import data from files generated from the Falcon Framework. Data transfer is user customizable and can include any information from the CAD files including, but not limited to, Part Number, Reference Designator, Quantity, operating parameters and thermal data. Also using the comprehensive data libraries, Relex will then compute the resulting failure rate and MTBF values of components, boards, and systems. These results can then be output to a customized report, as well as sent back to the Falcon Framework to annotate schematics.
