Hello – my name is Matt Radochonski. I’m on the Mentor Embedded team and will be checking into this blog occasionally with short updates. Over the last 3 months we’ve released a series of new board support packages for a handful of architectures, vendors, and boards. Several of these BSP’s are new and some have been updated to expand driver support. The Nucleus RTOS product was one of the first RTOS’ to support the new TI AM335x (you can view a joint web seminar with TI to learn more). Additionally, all Nucleus BSP’s are power-aware (click here to learn more about Nucleus power management). Nuclues’ UART, Kernel & CPU drivers now support the RSK2-SH7264 board from Renesas and SuperH. Our list of supported STMicroelectronics’ STM series of boards continues to grow with the STM321OE-EVAL board. The list of supported boards for Freescale’s i.MX boards based on Cortex-A8 processors expands every month, including a few new ones in June, and the Hibernate feature is supported with these boards as well.
