Presenter Image Katie Roberts-Hoffman

Katie Roberts-Hoffman is a Software Engineer in the ARM Microprocessors Business Unit at Texas Instruments. She is currently working on enabling Android on OMAP35xx devices via the Rowboat project and exploring other upcoming technologies on Cortex-A8s. She has previously developed software solutions for multimedia codecs and graphics on a variety of TI s System-on-Chip platforms. Katie holds a MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Presenter Image Brad Dixon

Brad Dixon is a Sr. Marketing Manager at Mentor Graphics responsible for Android, Linux, and Nucleus. Brad has been at the nexus of open source and embedded software as a developer, FAE, and product manager since 2000. Previously at MontaVista, Brad has helped some of the world's most demanding companies understand how to apply Linux and other open source technology to design new applications and devices. In addition to technical nuts and bolts, Brad is involved in licensing, quality assurance, networking, and security.

What do I need to watch and hear this web seminar?

Mentor Graphics’ web seminars are delivered using Adobe Connect. To watch the seminar all you need to have installed is the Adobe Flash Player, version 8 or later on Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris. The Flash Player is already installed on over 98% of internet connected computers worldwide so you will not have to install any software prior to attending the meeting. You will be able to login to the seminar room 15 minutes prior to the start time on the day of the presentation. You can hear the audio using your computer’s speakers via VoIP (Voice over IP) and background music will play prior to the beginning of the presentation.
