Overview
This webinar provides an overview of the challenges and a view of how to manage complex scenarios, keeping end product developers out of the tools development business.
The target connection to host-based development tool suites – specifically the debugger software – are now processor-based systems providing sophisticated target management, control and visibility, as well as board bring-up features and the ability to program flash memory. No longer a simple cable with buffering, current generation JTAG probes provide comprehensive setup and connection modes that can be easily modified, from supporting the processor vendor’s reference design to supporting OEM/ODM platforms with a wide range of goals.
