About the Presenters

Joe Wlad

Joe Wlad, Product Marketing Manager, has over 25 years of embedded engineering and marketing experience including work at LynuxWorks, Inc., Wind River, Intermetrics, Inc., McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Company and United Airlines. Joe has also worked for Trimble Navigation as an Engineering Manager in development and FAA approval of military GPS sensors. He is a FAA Designated Engineering Representative for Systems and Equipment and Software, is an active private pilot and has co-authored three patents on Global Positioning System integrity functions. Joe Wlad holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Buffalo and a MBA from Santa Clara University.

Kelly Oberle

Kelly Oberle is the Vice President of Product Management for Silex America. Prior to joining Silex, Kelly was the founder of Access Human Potential (AHP), a company who works in partnership with management to strengthen the organization’s culture by providing strategies to assist in improving productivity, morale, and quality of work life. Before founding AHP, Kelly worked in product and marketing management for high tech companies including Emulex Corporation and Toshiba America Business Solutions. She successfully worked with executive management to facilitate business development activities (both nationally and internationally), manage cross-functional projects, and design product, sales and management training programs.

Kelly graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Organizational Studies.
