Sourcery CodeBench supports all TI ARM-based application processors, including DaVinci, OMAP, and Sitara product lines. Sourcery CodeBench provides excellent performance by leveraging advanced features of to the ARM9, Cortex-A8 and Cortex-A9 cores used in TI's processors, including the VFP floating-point unit and NEON™ SIMD unit.

Easily take full advantage of Sourcery CodeBench features when using TI evaluation kits, since Texas Instruments uses the Sourcery CodeBench toolchain to build TI Linux kernels and BSPs. Use the TI SDKs directly, or choose our "sysroot utilities" to use the run-time libraries provided with Sourcery CodeBench.

Complete Linux Debug Environment
Sourcery CodeBench lets you build an application on your Linux or Windows host system, automatically download it to the target system, and run it in the debugger. View multiple threads, and even multiple processes, simultaneously in the debugger. The IDE also provides you with a command shell on the target system.
Support and updates
Sourcery CodeBench Professional and Standard Editions include direct access to Mentor Graphics CodeBench engineering team, which has contributed more than 10,000 changes to the official versions of the GNU toolchain.
Professional Edition customers can also receive update releases to resolve issues when no work-around is available — typically within just a few days.
All Sourcery CodeBench customers receive access to regular Sourcery CodeBench updates, as well as any intermediate updates produced for Professional Edition customers.
