How-to: Using Sourcery Probe to Program Flash Devices
White Paper
ABSTRACT
This paper helps you use the flash programming utility (link to download the file included in paper) to program NOR flash memory on your ARM or MIPS target system using a Mentor® Embedded Sourcery™ Probe (MESP). The flash utility is downloaded to the target system using Sourcery Probe and Mentor® Embedded Sourcery™ CodeBench and runs on the target system. It enables you to erase and program NOR flash memory devices on the target through your JTAG port. This document explains the steps to set up and use the flash programming utility.
