Innovators generate success because they find ways to cross organizational and functional boundaries to optimize a product in multiple disciplines. Mature companies try to solve this problem by creating cross-disciplinary teams while start-up companies do it naturally due to lack of enough resources to allow specialization. Meanwhile, products targeted at customers in different disciplines rarely appeal to more than one.

TECHNICAL SESSION The 7th annual Mentor Graphics University Design contest 2012 in Egypt. The focus of this contest is to provide an opportunity for engineering students to showcase their technical talent and competency using Mentor Graphics tools.
We expect to grow this contest with increased representation & participation, and draw maximum number of contestants for the contest.

TECHNICAL SESSION This session will provide a complete overview of the latest developments and future direction of Mentor Graphics solutions and methodologies for Digital and Analogue Mixed Signal Design and Verification. We will explain how you can improve productivity by using Mentor solutions in the following areas :System Level Modelling, Embedded Software, Functional Verification and Emulation Platforms, Verification IP, Test plan Tracking, Testbench Automation, Power Aware Simulation for both digital and Mixed Signal designs, as well as the latest developments in custom IC design.

TECHNICAL SESSION As product complexity has increased, organizations have been under constant pressure to meet their business drivers while bringing competitive products to the market-place. These pressures are compounded by a significant demographic shift in heritage PCB design and engineering. In the western world, new entrants into the PCB design workplace is in decline, this is happening when engineering graduates as a whole are also in decline.
