The Capital Analysis Advanced Modeling course was developed to help you understand how to create and deploy component models utilizing both SAINT dependency expression based models, and those based on state-chart descriptions. Students will also learn how to create mixed-mode models that can be used for both qualitative and numerical studies.
Detailed lab exercises help reinforce what is discussed during the lectures and provide you with extensive tool usage experience under the guidance of our industry expert instructors.
You will learn how to
• Create and use component models suitable to be used in high-level analysis and basic simulation
• Evaluate the appropriate modeling methodology for a given component that is required for a simulation or analysis
Hands-On Labs
Throughout this course, extensive hands-on lab exercises provide you with practical experience using CHS Capital Analysis SimModel software. Hands-on lab topics include:
• Building component models capturing behavior using SAINT dependency expressions
• Building component models using state-chart behavioural descriptions (including concurrent behavioral elements)
• Building mixed-mode simulation models that can be used for both qualitative and numeric analysis
Audience
Capital Analysis users who are required to build component models for a generalized library for an enterprise. Capital Analysis users who are as part of the normal work, occasionaly required to build component models
