The course focuses on development of in-car communication software using the LIN Target Package (LTP) software.
Detailed lab exercises help reinforce what is discussed during the lectures and provide you with extensive tool usage experience under the guidance of our industry expert instructors.

Hands-On Labs
Roughly half of the time is spent on a workshop in our training lab with 4 development stations (PC, IAR C-Compiler, Star12-based ECU, IAR C-Spy debugger and LIN Spector) where the participants write small programs that communicate on LIN by using LTP. The applications are tested and analyzed using the LIN Spector Emulation and Analysis tool.
Audience
The class is suitable for application programmers that are to use the LTP and for other personnel working on development of a car Electronic Control Unit and its application SW, i.e. “node responsible”. System integrators working with VNA/LNA also benefit from participating in this class.
Prerequisites
The participants are assumed to be familiar with the ‘C’ programming language.
