DxSim offers a fully integrated solution for board schematic design and simulation. The DxSim with Eldo course was developed to help you understand this new interface between DxDesigner and Eldo, the Mentor Graphics Analog Simulator. The course will show you how to use the simple interface as well as how to set up the netlister for more advanced Eldo features.
Detailed lab exercises help reinforce what is discussed during the lectures and provide you with extensive tool usage experience under the guidance of our industry expert instructors.
You will learn how to
- Use DxDesigner to create schematics for analog simulation.
- Run simulations and display the results in both graphical and ASCII formats.
- Set up different simulation configurations for analysis types as well as component variances
- Sweep component values, sources and run Monte Carlo analyses.
- Add models to the simulation library index.
- Use EZWave (waveform viewer) for advanced analysis of simulation results.
