Description
This training course provides lectures and lab exercises to teach the tools that comprise the Front-End Tool (Board Architect product in cooperation with Library Management Solution, LMS) as it is used in Ericsson HDE2.5 environment. The training course facilitates the use concept of multiple schematic designers that edit the design concurrently (CDP).Objective:
- Create and edit a schematic for a hierarchical design using the Parts selector to select parts from the UGL library.
- Adopt an existing design into the Concurrent Design Process (CDP) flow
- Generate and edit component symbols
- Create and edit properties on a symbol and schematic
- Update and replace parts in your design
- Understand the packaging process and geometry resolution in CDP
- Understand the Tasks involved in the CDP Flow, both as a Schematic Designer and a Design Coordinator.
Audience: Electrical engineers and PCB designers at Ericsson
Prerequisites: Familiarity with supported workstation environments using Unix sys V and NT operating systems.
