Capital Manager provides a datacentric infrastructure with support functionality to all CHS applications. Datacentric management of data frees the user from 'file management' and automatically maintains integrity of designs and projects throughout the lifecycle.

Capital Manager administers user permission, library data, options and variants, deep customization of naming conventions, diagrams, and text reports; and allows companies to configure data flows and tool behaviour to precisely match their requirements

There is a 'global' facet to all aspects of data throughout the design process of all projects - reducing errors, providing faster access to key design data and allowing reuse of previous designs.

Components/Tools

Capital Manager consists of the following tools:

  • Capital Project - Provides a powerful customization environment for controlling the look, feel and scope of both the CHS tools and the electrical designs created with them
  • Capital User - Provides a comprehensive facility for defining user permissions. Permissions can be defined at many levels - by project, by role, by username, by tool, plus many others
  • Capital Library - Provides a comprehensive parts management library, integrating graphical, analysis and other models, and supporting automated part selection
  • Capital Reporter - Provides a powerful query and report capability for creating a wide variety of custom design reports. Data can be queried across a wide range – from a single design, a complete project, through to all projects
