Mentor Graphics Announces Latest Version of Wire Harness Engineering Software

WILSONVILLE, Ore., September 2, 2003 - Mentor Graphics? Corporation has released the latest version of its popular Capital Manufacture^TM & Capital Factory? electrical wire harness engineering / production software.  Capital Manufacture & Capital Factory version 4.0 contains a number of enhancements such as:

• Enhanced user-configurable multi-sheet printing capability, including a TIFF output option.
• Additional wire-fits-cavity validation checking.
• Additional model variables within the Capital Costing(tm) software module.
• Improvements to the interface with Dassault Syst?mes' CATIA V4 MCAD software.
• Capital Autoloader(tm), a new product that automatically detects and loads new harness, component and costing data into the Capital Manufacture database.
