Coming Attractions: Military and Aerospace IESF (Part 1)

Mentor Graphics has just revealed the program for its upcoming Integrated Electrical Solutions Forum (IESF) 2011. If you’re not familiar with IESF, it’s one of the world’s leading events for design engineers, engineering management, and executives in the military and aerospace (mil/aero) industry. Even better, it’s free and in a great summer locale: the Marriott Long Beach hotel, in Long Beach, Calif. Also of benefit, it’s a one-day affair–held Tues., September 13, this time around.

IESF 2011 in Long Beach covers a range of mil/aero topics and offers a forum where managers and engineers can learn about and discuss issues, test-drive and explore solutions, and meet and converse with like-minded professionals. September’s IESF provides 23 (yes, 23) industry sessions, three breakout tracks with specialized topics, a solutions expo, and tutorial and networking events.

The IESF’s focused track approach is unique and addresses specific topics and issues affecting the mil/aero industry. In fact, the event is tailored to mil/aero professionals involved in: electrical system design; simulation and analysis; wire harness design & engineering; system integration; electrical maintenance and repair; FPGA, ASIC, and PCB development; and DO-254, ARP 475A, and EWIS certification.

Chances are good that if you work on virtually any military or aerospace program or platform, this means you. If, however, you’re not certain whether Mentor Graphics’ mil/aero IESF is a good fit for you, feel free to pose a question below in a comment.

This geek wouldn’t miss the mil/aero IESF ! (Psst, I will be there with smart phone and notepad in hand. Please feel free to say “hi.”)
