Electrical & Wire Harness Design Workshop

Overview

The creation of electrical schematics, harness drawings & harness manufacturing reports is a big challenge for many companies. Mentor Graphics provides an advanced set of design tools built for electrical & wire harness design, used worldwide by aerospace, automotive, & harness makers large & small.

Join us for a hands-on workshop to find out how many of the most time-consuming & error prone design tasks can be automated.

During the morning on, we will demonstrate how the software suite can assist with your biggest design challenges and in the afternoon you will have the chance to use the tools hands on with computers running VeSys software, where you will get a more in-depth look at the tools, plus the ability to bring your own design challenge to test on the software.

What You Will Learn

We will show you how you can automate:

  • Electrical validation of wiring voltages & currents, incorrect connections, etc
  • Automated harness part selection for terminals & seals
  • Design validation reports
  • Automated BOM, cut lists, KOMAX files
