Reducing Cost with Harness Manufacturing Process Design
Pressure to reduce costs means the need to optimize manufacturing operations has never been stronger. This Breakout focuses on Capital Harness MPM, a powerful application that analyzes harness designs in terms of optimized subassemblies. By automatically creating structured BOMs, process modeling can be extended to be plant or line-specific, and data feeds to ERP systems directly created. Additional technologies include the ability to identify sub-assemblies common to different projects, allowing economies of scale to be exploited and inventory to be reduced.
