Microtec Research is proud to be a member of the Mentor Graphics Embedded Software Division. Microtec products form the backbone of the Mentor Graphics EDGE Developer Suite of embedded software development tools.

Microtec C and C++ Compiler Suite, MCC68K, and its technology form the basis of Mentor’s EDGE Compiler, which takes C, C++ and assembly language source code and performs all of the processing to generate a final binary image.

The technology used to develop Microtec Xray Debugger is utilized by Mentor’s EDGE Debugger, which is built on the Eclipse framework. EDGE Debugger offers advance scripting, I/O visibility, and operating system awareness to help reduce your time debugging.
