PERC Ultra for Nucleus runs on Windows and targets the i.MX21 ARM board from Freescale Semiconductor, and could support any ARM9 or later processor. First introduced nine years ago, PERC is the most widely used real-time Virtual Machine available, with fielded installations in telecommunications, telematics, avionics, deep space exploration, and office automation applications. PERC provides support for Nucleus OS licensees on a variety of target processors including PowerPC, XScale, ARM, and Intel x86 architectures.

Established in 1990, Arphic Technology became a leading developer and provider of global fonts for embedded systems. Arphic joined forces as close partners with Mentor Graphics in order to provide Nucleus customers with superior stroke-based font technologies to include Mobile Font®, HiFont®, and Compact TrueType. To support global languages, Arphic Layout Engine® is a program library mastering text layout of written scripts worldwide, such as Hindi, Bengali, Arabic, Thai, etc.

Beginning with Asian Chinese character technology, Arphic has progressively developed a series of digitized fonts for a multitude of languages worldwide. Arphic continues to develop prominent font solutions for Nucleus customers to meet their time to market constraints for development of consumer and industrial electronic devices.

Beatnik and Mentor Graphics have teamed up to provide a robust mobile audio solution for the popular Nucleus family of products and related mobile phone platforms. Incorporated in 1996, Beatnik was founded by musician and composer Thomas Dolby Robertson.

Esmertec is a focused provider of software and services for Nucleus customers including communications device manufacturers and mobile telecom operators. The company has partnered with Mentor Graphics Corporation in order to provide software platforms that enable the deployment of content and applications in devices and over servers. Nucleus customers include mobile telecom operators and manufacturers of mobile handsets, set-top boxes and interactive televisions. Esmertec's software and service capabilities excel with their reliability as well as fast and local execution. Founded in 1999, Esmertec is headquartered in Zurich-Switzerland with subsidiaries in China, France, South Korea, and the USA, and offices in Taiwan and the UK. Since 2005, Esmertec has been listed on the SWX Swiss Exchange (ESMN).

GAO software is fully optimized on many popular fixed and floating point DSPs and microprocessors. GAO Research has been serving industry leaders since 1992. The Nucleus Real-Time OS by Mentor Graphics is the preferred operating system for many embedded designs and is fully supported by GAO software. Mentor Graphics embedded systems together with GAO software provides a world-class software solution to telecom customers.

Jataayu Software is a leading provider of products and solutions for mobile handsets helping ODMs, OEMs and handset manufacturers design and build feature-rich differentiated handsets quickly. Jataayu’s products for Nucleus include its flagship mobile HTML browser and a suite of complimentary products covering WAP, MMS, IM, Email, SyncML and OTA client solutions. The Jataayu-Mentor Graphics partnership objective is to offer customers a pre-integrated, highly customizable, robust mobile application suite with Jataayu mobile browser, MMS and IM client solutions on the Inflexion Platform. The process of porting validating and integrating software for mobile phones takes significant monetary and time investment.
