FPGA Design Assurance for DO-254 and Safety-Critical Applications

Details

Overview

Methodologies, tools, and flows for processes such as design synthesis for FPGAs must take DO-254 or design assurance requirements into consideration if the end products are slated for safety-critical applications. This session provides background information and goes into detail on FPGA implementation challenges and methodologies when meeting compliance standards such as DO-254.

What You Will Learn

  • Synthesis and flow considerations for safety critical standards
  • How to standardize on a repeatable, verifiable design process
  • How to track requirements through final FPGA implementation
