Requirements Tracing Through FPGA Synthesis
Product Demo
Abstract
A major challenge in safety-critical design flows is requirements tracking, particularly when meeting compliance with safety standards such as DO-254. Mentor’s ReqTracer simplifies, automates and enables requirements traceability from specification of the hardware through HDL coding, implementation and validation. In this demonstration we will show how integration between Precision Synthesis and ReqTracer can ensure that specified requirements are met in the final FPGA netlist, such as timing constraints, area constraints, and other implementation options.
