Mentor Graphics Endorses SystemVerilog from Accellera; Announces Product Availability Plans

DESIGN AUTOMATION CONFERENCE, NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, June 11, 2002 - - Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT) today announced support for SystemVerilog, the recently announced standard from Accellera. Mentor plans to incorporate the new standard into a range of its tools, with availability beginning in 2003. We believe that the evolutionary approach that SystemVerilog offers is a better path forward for Verilog designers, said Walden C.
