The Embedded Systems Division of Mentor Graphics provides a wide range of tools and RTOS solutions for embedded software development alongside Seamless. Our XRAY debug solution offers a high level debugger and ISS that is completely integrated with, and provides the software interface to Seamless. The Nucleus operating system also runs within Seamless, and allows for a much greater level of system software testing during the co-verification phase. E-SIM is a full system simulation and prototyping environment, which leverages the Seamless connection into the hardware simulation world to offer a highly precise mapping of hardware peripherals for very accurate system prototyping and further enhance the ability of our customers to develop almost-complete software applications prior to the full availability of the hardware.
