AMS HIT-Kit and Austria Microsystems Design Flow -

The Analog/Mixed-Signal High Performance Interface Tool Kit (AMS HIT-Kit) is a unique utility kit consisting of software programs and libraries which contain full front-end (symbol, schematic, simulation model) and backend (placement outlines, full layout) information for the development of digital, analog and mixed-signal circuits within a state-of-the-art CAE design environment. Depending on the customer's design environment, needs and experience, Austria Microsystems provides two sets of design kits on CD-ROM:

  • DIGITAL HIT-Kit for designs using the Digital Standard Cells and
  • MIXED-SIGNAL HIT-Kit for custom analog and mixed-signal designs

TDK Components

  • Comprehensive device model library with highly accurate process parameter sets
  • Design Architect-IC symbols with predefined properties for Eldo/Questa ADMS simulation and SDL and LVS
  • Userware that customizes DA-IC (correct libraries, viewpoint + symbol generation)
  • Userware that customizes IC Station (Process definition file, layout libraries, and device generators )
  • Calibre rule files for DRC and LVS

TDK Documentation

  • Release Notes: Description of included libraries, updates, and features
  • Installation Guide: Brief description of installation procedure and HIT-Kit set-up
  • Users Guide: Austria Microsystems specific IC Station user's guide
