PolarFab Semiconductor was acquired by Sanken Electric Co., Ltd. It is now called Polar Semiconductor, Inc. (PSI). Polar Semiconductor offers all the foundry services that you might need, from customer input to delivered product. The company’s foundry features the PolarShuttle™, a multi-project, fast-track wafer program that provides a quick method for designers to test out their prototypes, expediting the time it takes to get products to market. Polar Semiconductor performs all of its manufacturing in the company’s six-inch and eight-inch wafer fabrication facilities in Minnesota. The combined facilities provide 63,000 square feet of clean room space, enabling them to start more than 3,500 wafers per week. With standard process turn times of two days per mask level layer, PolarFab Semicodnductor's lead times let you meet today's compressed production schedules.
