Mentor Graphics' STMicroelectronics AMS Design Kit
Today's wireless terminals require new features with high-performance and cost-optimized integrated circuits solutions. To fulfill these challenging market requirements, STMicroelectronics has enlarged its product portfolio, and proposes complete solutions based on advanced processes and state-of-the-art IP blocks. STMicroelectronics is offering the most advanced semiconductor process solutions for all key functions of wireless terminals: SiGe-based 0.35/0.25 µm process families for RF front-end, 0.5/0.35/0.25 µm for analog and mixed signal designs (Analog Baseband, Accessories and Sensors), 0.13 µm CMOS for multimedia, GPS and Bluetooth applications.
Moreover, those processes can be combined with passive integrated devices and advanced packaging to provide super integrated solutions (system-on-module). Complex IC developments need an easy-to-use design environment and high-level system simulations tools for fast time-to-market
STMicroelectronics has developed a complete Mentor Graphics-based CAD environment that allows users to achieve a full design flow from Design Entry to Physical Verification, going through best-in-class AMS simulators and high-performance layout generators.
