Overview
Mentor Graphics Mechanical Analysis Division invites you to attend the FloTHERM web demonstration in German language.
FloTHERM is a 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics software that predicts airflow and heat transfer in and around electronic equipment, including the coupled effects of conduction, convection and radiation. FloTHERM is the leader in thermal analysis software for the electronics industry, with more users, application examples, thermal model libraries and published technical papers than all its competitors combined.
What You Will Learn
- The Philosophy of Industry specific CFD
- Multilevelsimulation (from Package to Systemlevel)
- How to set up a CFD Model
- Gridding without headaches
- Interpreting your solutions
- Solution range with FloTHERM
About the Presenter
Andreas Simon-Kajda
Andreas is an Application Engineer with Mentor’s Mechanical Analysis Division (formerly Flomerics) in Filderstadt, Germany. He has held this position since March 2006. He provides customer support and training for the FloEFD, FloTHERM, and FloVENT CFD tools. Andreas also works in customer pre-sales and on customer consultancy projects, which helps him expand his already extensive knowledge of Mentor products and CFD technology.
Andreas achieved his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Reutlingen University in 2006. His diploma thesis described the possibilities of “Temperature Reduction of LEDs in Automotive Headlamps.”
Andreas will be presenting in German language.
