Description
FloTHERM's new interface to Expedition PCB has completely removed the data transfer barrier that once was in place between these two tools. Installation of the FloTHERM Expedition add-in enables the user to use a single click within Expedition to push out all of the thermally relevant geometry for the active PCB design in a format that FloTHERM can understand. A single file is created that contains the board outline, component position, size, and orientation the layer stackup and a complete description of conductor geometry.
