The Use of CFD in Car Park and Office Ventilation
On-demand Web Seminar
This webinar presents how CFD software is used to design optimal airflow systems for parking garage and office ventilation.
Basic and large multi-level parking garages and an office air conditioning system will be examined, including the results of fire simulations – all performed using Mentor’s FloVENT airflow and heat transfer simulation software.
You will see how CFD analysis allows detailed computation of airflow in parking garage designs, taking into account the complex geometry of individual buildings and locations of exhaust fans within the structure.
DURATION: 29 minutes
What You Will Learn
- Application of CFD to car parks
- Analysis of basic, multilevel and fire simulation in car parks
- Use of impulse/jet fans to circulate fresh air
- Appropriate post processing techniques for evaluating design effectiveness
