In this virtual lab, you will use Flowmaster V7 to model the effects of a rising main pressure surge. The lab reviews the Project View environment, including the Networks and Catalogs tabs.

During this virtual lab, you will analyze the flow rate over a 10-second period, with suspected cavitation downstream of the control valve.

You will try different techniques, such as adding an air admission valve or surge tank downstream of the control valve, and see how that affects potential vapor cavities in the network.
