Software Simulation of a Double-Sided PCB
White Paper
ABSTRACT
This paper describes the cooling analysis performed on a double-sided PCB. The paper considers the system-level analysis of the card cage during conceptual design through to detailed component analysis to predict junction temperatures of critical components. The effect of component density and use of a double-sided PCB on component temperature are investigated.
