Time flies...it's almost February

And you know what that means?   DesignCon is next week.

I’ve probably been to a couple hundred trade shows in my career, and except for boat shows and fishing shows, I really can’t say I’ve been this excited to attend one in a long, long time!  The panels that Leslie Van Grove put together will be very fun, and I’m especially looking forward to the SciFi panel.  I know…I’m kind of running this topic into the ground, but I really don’t want you to miss it…it will be a hoot, and it’s just one week from today.

Here is a link to a description of the panel from its moderator, Gabe Moretti: http://www.gabeoneda.com/news/science-fiction%E2%80%A6-it-really-fiction

If you haven’t made up your mind about attending, take a look and I think it will grab you.

I’m also going to finally join the 21st century and will be on Twitter at DesignCon. No, I’m not going to tell you what I’m having for lunch, or that I just sat down to read a magazine. Instead, the tweets (I wonder why they didn’t call them “twits”! LOL) will help you find out more about Mentor. And, if we win the DesignVision award for HyperLynx, well…you know I won’t be able to help myself from lauding that!  I’ll give more specifics on Twittering later in the week (you can read that as “after I figure it out”).

On another front, Mentor will have a couple of very intersting announcements over the next 6 weeks. Stay tuned, because these announcements are going to show the intense commitment we have to PCB design, development, simulation, and manufacturing. PCB is not a side business for Mentor and we continually strive to deliver the best possible tools to our customers.
