Mentor Graphics has teamed with Altera to provide the Stratix GX reference design for use with the Mentor Graphics Expedition™ PCB design software. The Stratix GX reference design, available through Altera, provides a 3G high-speed serial design integrating the Stratix GX and other components common to a high-speed serial design for use with the Expedition PCB design flow, enabling PCB designers to shorten their design times.
The Stratix GX reference design for Expedition is distributed through Altera. To obtain the Altera Stratix GX design kit, please contact your Altera representative, or contact your local Mentor Graphics sales person for assistance.
Footprint for Expedition
In an effort to make multi-gigabit interconnect implementation as painless as possible, Altera and Mentor Graphics have teamed up to provide the Altera Stratix footprint for Expedition. Preconfigured footprints and symbols can be implemented in your design flow immediately, saving hours of library set up time.
