Overview

This Web Seminar will focus on how to use PADS for high Speed routing.

Two options for routing high-speed designs will be explored: PADS AutoRouter HSD and PADS Router HSD. PADS AutoRouter HSD is a superset of automatic and interactive highspeed routing capabilities. PADS Router HSD is a subset of tools specialized for interactive high-speed routing. Both enable you to route length-constrained nets anywhere in the rules hierarchy

What You Will Learn

PADS Autorouter HDS

  • Adds automatic/batch high-speed signal routing capabilities to PADS AutoRouter
  • Includes PADS Router HSD

PADS Router HSD

  • Adds interactive high-speed signal routing capabilities to PADS Router
  • Enables interactive routing of differential pairs, matched-length, and min/max length nets
  • Routes length-constrained nets anywhere in the rules hierarchy
  • Manages constraints associated with high-speed traces
  • Sets and protects net topologies
  • Controls an array of options for routing differential pairs
