The Expedition Enterprise engineering desktop encompasses all design creation and simulation tasks, enabling engineers to improve individual and team productivity without sacrificing product performance and quality.
Today's product teams have to achieve the same or greater workloads with fewer engineers. Creating differentiated products performing at the bleeding edge requires advanced design and verification solutions - generally leading to tool specialization and longer design cycles. To improve engineering productivity, tools need to be tightly integrated within a common desktop environment, enabling engineers to shorten the design/validation cycle.

About the Presenter
David Wiens
David Wiens has over 20 years of experience in the EDA industry and is currently a product manager for the Systems Design Division of Mentor Graphics Corp. He joined Mentor Graphics in 1999 and previously held various engineering, marketing and management positions within the EDA industry. His focus areas have included advanced packaging, high-speed design, routing technology and integrated systems design.
