Overview
In this 1-hour webcast we will explore how the Altera Stratix II GX Design Kit for HyperLynx can be used to design a robust SERDES channel. We will cover S-parameter extraction from HyperLynx and how to use that S-parameter in Altera’s PELE tool to determine approximate pre-emphasis and equalization settings for the Stratix II GX tranceivers. Those settings can then be automatically applied in the model configurator for easy model setup and eye diagram simulation.
