PADS Logic highlights:
- The ability to define attributes that will be assigned to all new parts
- Usability enhancements, including a direct-print button, label placement aids, and true Windows? features, such as: Print, Copy, Paste, and True Type? fonts
- An auto-connect feature for automatically connecting dangling wires to a bus if they are named subnets
- In Fields, the last-saved date format reflects Microsoft Windows' regional setting

- A free-form schematic editor that provides an optional way to create or edit LineSim schematics. In HyperLynx GHz, the editor allows you to easily instantiate SPICE and scattering parameter models
- Full Windows support for Copy/Paste of multiple components and transmission-line segments
- The BoardSim viewer now supports point-and-click selection of nets and components, partial plane importing and viewing, and interactive crosstalk coupling region viewing
- Batch simulation in BoardSim
- More than 10,000 new IBIS models
- A "Via Visualizer" in BoardSim GHz for viewing the geometric and electrical details of an individual via or differential via pair
