Model compilation as a path to implementation is a key characteristic of the xtUML process. Yet, it is also a common barrier to acceptance of the process. This presentation endeavors to expose the mystery and myths associated with model compilation and to provide a fresh understanding that can address many modeler’s reluctance.

About the Presenter
Keith Brown
Keith Brown is a Software Development Engineer, working on the BridgePoint xtUML product line at Mentor Graphics. A co-creator of the SystemC model compiler used in BridgePoint, Brown currently maintains this part of the product line.
Keith has 14 years of experience in software development for desktop and embedded applications, including seven years of experience developing BridgePoint software and model compilers at Mentor Graphics. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.

What do I need to watch and hear this web seminar?
Mentor Graphics’ web seminars are delivered using Adobe Connect. You will be able to login to the seminar room 15 minutes prior to the start time on the day of the presentation. You can hear the audio using your computer’s speakers via VoIP (Voice over IP) and background music will play prior to the beginning of the presentation.
