Cardiac Pacemaker Modeling and Analysis Demonstration
Product Demo
Abstract
An extension of our Medical System Design Web seminar, this product demonstration takes an in-depth look at modeling and analyzing functional blocks in the sensing pathway of a cardiac pacemaker. Starting with a set of public domain pacemaker requirements, this design example includes a discussion of the following sensing pathway blocks: gain, bandpass filter, absolute value, comparator. Each block is modeled and analyzed using the SystemVision design environment and the IEEE standard VHDL-AMS modeling language. The demonstration concludes with an analysis of the complete sensing pathway sub-system.
