Leveraging Your Test Environment without Waiting for Hardware
Technology Overview
ABSTRACT

Creating a test program for your system is a challenging task with complex interactions that cross multiple design domains (electrical, mechanical, software, control, etc). This is even more difficult when hardware is not available until very late in the delivery schedule. This presentation discusses how to proceed with test development and validation prior to hardware availability and how you can leverage validation tests throughout the development process in order to reduce development time and bring a better product to market. The process is illustrated by an “automatic guitar tuner” which was developed by engineers in different locations and from different companies. See how the actual project came together, and watch/hear it tune a real guitar.
