Accelerating ARM-based Design
The ARM-Mentor partnership combines the extensive system and physical IP of ARM with Mentor's unique position as the only major EDA company with expertise in streamlining embedded software design and enabling rapid design and verification of complex ARM-based SoC designs.
Early Software Bring up
Mentor Embedded delivers a wide range of open source Linux and Nucleus RTOS development tools, operating systems and services supporting ARM devices. We collaborate with many ARM licensees, including TI, Freescale, Atmel, ST Microelectronics, Altera, Xilinx, Samsung and LG.
For example, our JTAG Sourcery Probes provide visibility into and control of on-chip debug features of ARM cores. And we've optimized UI development performance for the ARM® Mali™ GPU, reducing development time from months to days.
