Course Overview

With the release of EE2007.1 DxDesigner, there is a substantial change in the architecture and interface of DxDesigner. This course will aid an experienced DxDesigner user in making the transition to this new, powerful release.

NOTE: this is not an introduction to DxDesigner. You will find links at the bottom of the page directing you to product training for DxDesigner and related software.

Detailed lab exercises help reinforce what is discussed during the lectures and provide you with extensive tool usage experience under the guidance of our industry expert instructors.

You will learn how to

  • Navigate through the new interface
  • Work using the new EE2007 database architecture
  • Create and configure projects in the new environment
  • Use new commands in DxDesigner
  • Work with new Central Library interfaces
  • Enter constraints in the new concurrent CES environment

Hands-On Labs

Throughout this course, extensive hands-on lab exercises provide you with practical experience using EE2007.1 DxDesigner software. Hands-on lab topics include:
  • DxDesigner project creation
  • DxDesigner schematic interface
  • CES constraint entry in EE2007.1

Audience

  • This class is for Engineers and Designers who are familiar with the 2005.3 DxDesigner tool. It is not intended for first time user training on the DxDesigner tool.

Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with Windows XP, NT, 2000 or UNIX operating systems.
  • Familiarity with DxDesigner 2005.3
