The nearest rail station to Mentor Graphics is the Newbury Racecourse station. It has a regular service on Race Days but only an occasional service (primarily during rush hours) on other days. It is located about 20 minutes (by foot) from the Training Centre.
The most reliable and frequently served station is the Newbury Station. This has a regular service 7 days a week and is located approximately 30 minutes (by foot) from the training centre. The route from the station is not clear and involves walking along canal tow paths and/or busy main roads, and therefore, if you are unfamiliar with the area, our advice is to take a taxi from the station.

By Plane
A hire car or taxi is advised from the airport to Newbury. Public transport is available but not directly to Newbury, and if chosen will involve travel times of approximately 2 hours. In general, the advice is to take a taxi, but if you're expecting to travel around the area in the evenings, a hire car may be a better option. Black Cab taxis can be taken from the airport if required however this is very expensive (expect fares to be about £120 each way). If prior notice is given, we can arrange a local taxi to pickup from the airport, reducing the fare to approximately £60 each way. This service is only available for those attending training or visiting Mentor Graphics, Newbury.
All fares must be paid for by the traveller direct to the taxi driver on completion of the journey.
